Job Summary
This highly regarded Investment Management firm is searching for an additional team member for its Strategic Asset Allocation team. This role will focus on assisting the SAA specialist in conducting asset liability modeling for clients.About the Client
The firm is a London-based asset management business and is part of one of the world's largest financial services groups. The group companies have assets of over £150 billion under management. They have a broad range of investment offerings, from multiple cash products through to alternatives.Job Description
They are now looking to bolster their SAA team and therefore this role requires a PhD educated candidate who can challenge the existing models and provide new solutions to clients. This institution is a leading manager and they have a very strong product offering. They are dedicated to growing this area and therefore require an individual who can assist in further developing the SAA capabilities by challenging the current processes. It is crucial that the team understand client constraints, liabilities and utility preferences to incorporate them in strategic asset allocation/liability studies. The successful incumbent will need to build strong relationships with the groups client based teams and help develop an integrated methodology for asset liability modelling. The key relationships within the business will be with the rest of the asset allocation team, actuarial and finance teams. The right individual must be proven at analysing investment data and a PhD or Masters where this has been the focus is essential. This is an opportunity for someone to work on a growing team within a successful expanding business where genuine opportunities for progression exist.
The successful candidate will:

• Be able to communicate highly technical information to a range of different audiences.
• Be highly technically and analytically minded.
