Equity Research Analyst - Global Clean Tech

Job Summary

One of the premier Asset Management firms in London is looking to hire a skilled and proven equity research Analyst to support a high-profile Fund Manager on a successful fund.

About the Client

This opportunity will involve all aspects of investment analysis, with a primary responsibility for generating quality investment proposals on a broad range of companies across the Alternative Energy, Water Management & Pollution Control sectors. The successful individual will have a demonstrable track-record of stock-picking, with knowledge of these ‘Clean Tech sectors’ a distinct advantage.

Job Description

You must have a very high degree of fundamental analysis skills, as this small team initiates and performs its own primary research. The ability to select, evaluate & propose high calibre investment ideas across a global investment universe is key, together with the persuasive communication skills to gain support for your ideas. You will be the key aide to the Portfolio Manager, and so it is also highly desirable if you are comfortable in assisting the PM in some elements of marketing the fund as they continue to grow the assets under management.

 

To be considered for this opportunity you must possess the following:

 

·         A technical approach to, and a successful history of, equity analysis of Clean Tech and Alternative Energy stocks. 

·         Analysis experience gained in a leading asset manager, closely supporting a successful fund.

·         Strong presentation and communication skills to allow effective discussion & debate on investment ideas and potentially lead more junior Analysts.

·         CFA qualification.

·
